Description
We have a 2bed/2bath at The Anchorage in Siesta Key with private/gated beach access directly across the street and then a 300 yard walk to the white sands of Crescent Beach. Located by the south bridge,walking distance to many restaurants and bars, one of the largest pools on the island, the Marina is just across the street for renting a boat, jet ski, parasailing, etc. Siesta Key trolley stop next to our entrance for a quick trip to the village. Park like setting at the back of the property with grills, picnic tables and chairs right on the inter coastal. We supply everything you need for the beach; wagon, cooler, chairs, umbrella and beach towels.

#186. Outstanding!
Jeff and Dawn were absolutely wonderful hosts to deal with!
They were always available and answered all our questions.
Their condo is absolutely perfection in every way with a great location as a bonus because you can walk to so many places.
Our family used their great pool every day and also enjoyed the pickle ball courts. Every resident or renter we met there was so very friendly.
We have been to Siesta Key before and we’re hesitant to stay on the bay side but we were having trouble finding somewhere beach front. What a pleasant surprise it was to not only enjoy the beautiful beach but to also enjoy the bay side much more than we expected. It was so relaxing to sit and watch all the boats, see dolphins and watch the draw bridge go up. A favorite meal of ours was grilling out and eating at a picnic table on the bay side.
We enjoyed our stay at this condo so much that we didn’t hesitate to rebook for another stay there next year!

#181. Perfect Condo
This was our 2nd time staying in Coastal Distancing and it was absolutely wonderful. Jeff and Dawn are great hosts, respond quickly to any questions, and they have thought of everything you’ll need! You can show up with clothes and food and that’s all you’ll need. Everything from beach chairs, wagon, cooler, fishing pole, sand toys, etc. It’s all there and available for you to use. The unit is very spacious and clean. We are a family of 5 (kids ages 15, 13, and 6) and it’s perfect for us. Beach is a short walk across the street with a private access path. The whole building seems maintained very well and all of the employees and residents inside are kind and welcoming. I had some Amazon packages shipped to us while we were there (outfits for family pics on the beach) and the neighbor of unit 302 stopped by to be sure I had gotten my packages. It feels like a very safe area and the property is gated and secure. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this rental or the owners. You won’t regret staying here. We love it!

#180. Beyond expectations!
Having spent two weeks every summer in Siesta Key while growing up I never experienced the Bay side of things. I was always enamored with the south bridge, the boats and all the serenity of it. This year was the year to experience it first hand and let me just say it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I brought my husband and four teenage sons to experience it with me and ALL of us were impressed. Dawn and Jeff's place was more than what we expected. From the decor to the space to the ease of getting around and to the beach, it was beyond perfect for us! They literally supply everything you could possibly need. Bring your suitcase, some food and you're all set! The best part was seeing a manatee in the channel right outside the entrance. Talk about a bucket list experience!!
Thank you both for the phenomenal hospitality, communication and making six complete strangers feel at home. We look forward to our next time in paradise.

#178. Fantastic!!
Dawn and Jeff are hands down one of the best couples to work with from start to finish; they made this process so easy for my Husband and I, considering It was our first time renting through owners I was a little hesitant. We had many questions and they were great to explain everything, most times within minutes (which was so nice)! They were on top of every little detail, from recommending airport transportation to area dining, trolley service and grocery stores to easily access.
The condo was FANTASTIC!! Clean, FULLY stocked with all of the necessities plus extras - right down to a cooler to take the beach and frozen ice packs! Honestly, they did not miss a thing when preparing their condo for rental. Such a cozy place to stay! The Anchorage is very well kept, the grounds fully maintained, great swimming pool area and if you want to spend a day at the beach it’s just few steps away; somedays we did both! Many restaurants and shops within walking distance – it was all just perfect!

#171. Perfect location!!
This was our first trip to Siesta Key and this location was perfect!!! The condo is located in a great spot. Close to shopping and restaurants, and just across the street from a beautiful private beach! The grounds and amenities were wonderful and well maintained. Great pool and beautiful green space overlooking the water. The condo was excellent, clean and very comfortable. Well stocked with everything you need for your stay. We appreciated the security of the grounds and an excellent parking spot. Jeff and Dawn were great hosts checking in with us before, during and after our stay. They thought of everything and provided excellent service.
We would highly recommend this rental!

#170. Perfection!!
Jeff and Dawn were the perfect hosts. The condo was spotless and very comfortable and always smelled so good! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the storage unit had everything you could possibly need for the beach and the pool. The location was perfect - the beach was directly across from the condo and there were plenty of bars, restaurants and stores within a short walking distance. We especially liked Sniki Tiki!! The free trolley for trips to the Village was awesome. The beach is beautiful - we didn't miss a sunset.
The pool was wonderful - we never had a problem getting a lounge chair and the outdoor seating by the bay was so relaxing. We are looking forward to coming back next February.

What can we say without repeating all of the accolades the previous reviews have rightly stated. Jeff and Dawn are great, friendly hosts! The condo is very clean and comfortable with everything needed, just like home! Super location close to the beautiful beach, great heated pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, restaurants, shopping, etc. Nice park like setting was great for watching dolphins in the inland waterway and grilling out. Wonderful neighbors too! We look forward to returning soon!

#167. GREAT location, location, location!!!! Clean! Close to all you need!
This was our 1st trip to Siesta Key. Was not sure what to expect as far as the location we picked or the condo unit we rented. The location is 100% PERFECT and the condo was AMAZING and had everything we needed. The unit is well taken care of, very clean and they provided all we needed for an amazing week's stay....towels, sheets, blankets, laundry, beach wagon, beach chairs and umbrella, coolers, patio furniture on the balcony to relax, and plenty of beach towels. The property is beautiful with a GREAT pool with plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy an afternoon by the pool. The back area of the property is set up to sit and relax and enjoy time siting in peace and quiet by the water watching the boats. The location is PERFECT. the Beach access is a short walk directly across the street. Also within walking distance is Siesta Key Grocery which has EVERYTHING you will need for the week...no need to drive to Publix or big store, ice cream shops and a few restaurants and/bars are also within walking distance.
I would recommend Siesta Key Coastal Distancing to everyone I know looking to have a perfect vacation. Jeff and Dawn are easy to work with and were always just a text or call away and responded quickly. We look forward to visiting again!!!!!!

#166. Best vacation we have ever had.
Hi! My name is Katie. I’m 30 and have been traveling since I turned 21. I’ve been all over even to Hawaii and I haven’t ever fallen in love with a vacation rental as much as I did with this beautiful condo in Siesta Key. The renters Dawn and Jeff have truly became friends of mine since we booked back in winter. They have wonderful personalities and make you feel at home! The condo was beautiful, clean, and extremely spacious. It has a giant beautiful balcony. It smells amazing. (Seriously what is that smell lol I need it for my house) it’s located right across the street from the beach, and the Daiquiri Deck! It has the most stunning pool I think I’ve ever seen. We had just as many pool days as beach days! They have a little seating area out on the bay. In the outdoor closet you have all the things to make your vacation simple! Beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, literally everything. You have a full kitchen, a walk in closet, three beds, 2 couches and a recliner. It was honestly unbelievable and I can’t wait to go back again! I wish I could say more. If you are thinking of booking this condo please don’t wait. Book it!! You will not regret it for a second!

#165. 10 Stars!! Perfect location / fantastic trip for family of 6!
Our one week stay at the condo was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay. Great communication. My husband and I stayed with our four children, ages 9,8,6,&3.
The condo smelled amazing and was very clean. It is beautifully decorated, and very spacious. No clutter. Our days typically started out with my husband and I drinking coffee (made with the Keurig in the kitchen!) on the balcony while the kids played in the spacious family room, or played games and colored at the kitchen table. Nice relaxing mornings. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out :)
This is a perfect location with the beach just across the street. There is also private / gated access to the beach which was great! The sand is soft and fluffy and white. The kids played for HOURS in the water and looking for shells. The condo supplies a beach wagon to use along with chairs, an umbrella and beach towels - very nice and so accommodating!
The pool at the condo is great and has tables with umbrellas and chairs as well as lounge chairs to lay on. The water was very clean and the perfect temperature. Kids loved it!
There are several restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Great food (gulf shrimp :)!) Great ice cream shops too! Loved hearing the live music coming from the restaurants and bars as we walked around! And mostly loved being such a close walk back home after dinner.
We took the free trolley to the village which was very cool and fun. We walked around (lots of shops) and had dinner there - then took the trolley back; it worked out perfect.
This was a fantastic trip for our family! This is the perfect condo to stay in and we will be back for sure! Thank you !
