The Salty Dog is a 4 bedroom and 2 full bathroom private home located on 5th avenue in Ortley Beach. We have a spacious, fully fenced in backyard and side yard with a paver patio for your comfort. We also have outdoor patio furniture and BBQ, along with a firepit for those toasty marshmallow nights. This is a ranch style house so its perfect for multigenerational families or those with young children. What makes us stand out is we include your dogs (furry family members) as part of the family if you would like to bring them. (2 dogs max for an additional fee) There is also an outdoor shower to rinse the sand and ocean right off. We tried to make The Salty Dog as comfortable, versatile and equipped with all the comforts of home. Wifi, Smart TV'S, fully equipped kitchen, 6 beach badges, beach chairs, blow up queen mattress for your use are just a few of the things that we provide.

Pet fee $400 non-refundable (2 dogs max, have to be approved by owner prior to booking )

Damage Deposit $400 fully refundable within 15 days of check out.

There are no large gatherings or parties allowed.

No smoking inside the house, smoking outside permitted as long as cigarette butts are disposed of safely in a garbage bag so it doesn't blow over the rocks or set fire.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund if cancelled 60 or more days before check-in date. 50% Refund if cancelled 30 days before check-in.​ No refund if cancelled within 30 days.  If cancelled within 30 days we will try to reschedule based on availability for a similar or lower rate as a courtesy if the guest wishes. 

Any fines incurred during your stay will be the responsibility of the tenant.

Tenants must comply with local laws and ordinance especially where Covid19 rules and regulations are concerned.
