Description
Our high-end rental in Beach Haven Crest, has more amenities in most vacation homes. Being 30 steps to the beach makes the home feel like it is oceanfront. GENERATOR - Is your rental prepared for the storms? We are! Make sure because we used it twice in 2020! You will pay the price of losing food, or having to go home due to a power outage. What a way to ruin a vacation!
First floor only- 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 bathrooms one with a normal height toilet, stand up shower stall. The other bathroom has a comfort height toilet (4 inches higher than normal) and stand up shower stall with a bench seat and handicapped rails in shower and on bathroom wall (Elder Friendly).
Living room has a comfortable memory foam, queen pullout couch. The coffee table doubles as a table for the Littles to dine at or play table.
The kitchen is fully equipment with cooking gear and baking gear to all simple and elaborate meals. The 48” Thermador convection, steam, gas, griddle and warming drawer will have you loving meal prep time. The extra-long dining table with help with working from home, homework, puzzles, and game night while still being able to dine at the other end of the table. The table is also great for crafts!
The back yard has a large 48” Weber grill, large dining table, and outdoor living room. The side alley is great for games outside. Ladder ball, Cornhole, Horseshoes. There is parking for 3 cars in lot. The outdoor shower has a bench and hose for quick clean ups.
*The rooftop deck has a large dining table and outdoor living room, loungers, and hot tub. The views are amazing and it is a great hangout during the sunset. We have a $800 security hold and $200 cleaning fee. You will need to bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels this year. I can also provide a linen service link if needed. We are pet friendly, but we do have a pet fee depending on weight per dog and Dog security of
$300 and additional $150 dog cleaning fee. See fees.

Driving Directions to Long Beach Island, NJ
From Atlantic City
Exit Atlantic City via the Atlantic City Expressway.
Take the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY North. This is a Toll Road.
Leave the Parkway at exit number 63 (NJ Rt. 72 East).
Stay on 72 East, it will take you right onto the island.
Alternate Route from Atlantic City, New Jersey
You can take Rt. 30 to Rt. 9 North.
Exit Rt. 9 at 72 East.
Public Transportation from Atlantic City, New Jersey
Bus Route 559 to Manahawkin
Taxi to LBI
From the North
The trick is to get to either US Route 9 or the Garden State Parkway.
Depending on your location, you might use I-8 or I-78 or the Cross Bronx Expressway to get to I-95 or US Route 1. The Trans-Manhattan Expressway includes these routes.
Travel South on I-95 or US Route 1 until you reach the intersection with US Route 9 or the Garden State Parkway.
If traveling the Garden State Parkway, use Exit 63. On US 9, look for the Manahawkin exit. NJ Route 72 East will take you right to LBI.
From the South
Take I – 95 North to Philadelphia.
Cross the Benjamin Franklin Bridge into New Jersey and follow the signs to Cherry Hill (Route 38) and the beaches (mainly you’ll be staying on the left).
Once you’ve made the left onto the ramp that enters Route 38, you’ll have to quickly get all the way to the right onto Route 70.
Take 70 until you reach the junction for Route 72 East (It’s a circle, but you don’t have to go around, stay to the right).
Follow 72 for 26 miles right onto the island.

With in 10 blocks we have: Brighton Beach Surf, Acme Bike and Kayak Rentals, Kubel's Too Tavern and Liqour Store, Pinky's Shrimp Seafood and Market,Angelina's Restaurant, Skipper Dipper, Acme Market, Garden State Art and Surf Gallery. Family Oreinted Neighbood, deadend street, great for kids to play in street or ride bikes, close to 30 other businesses, steps to beach, and we have a handicapped ramp to beach.

Policies
There is a $300 cleaning fee and $800 security hold. I can provide a link for linens if you need one. During Covid we are not providing our personal linen service providing, towels, blankets, and sheets, we do have pillows for your use.

#162. Look No Further
This home provided the best vacation my family has had in years. It was perfect for a large family because is provided both privacy and plenty of spaces to be together. "Third from the beach" is accurate. It is only a few steps from the sand. Close enough to easily return to house to use the restroom. I highly recommend!
#37. LBI Amazing vacation house
This beach house was the perfect place for our family reunion. The house had a perfect layout with a very large dinning table for us all to sit at one time, large grill and a roof top hot tub. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back next year. The owners were great to work with !!
#38. Great property and hosts
We rented this home during a celebratory weekend on the Island. Once we rented the hosts were in touch with us and were helpful with various suggestions. The home was as advertised and the hosts could not be nicer nor more accommodating. At check in they gave us the run down on the house, provided an enormous amount of snacks (always appreciated) and accommodated every request we had. Not to mention that they are lovely people. Would not hesitate to rent this property again in the future.

This house was a wonderful place to have a family reunion. The kitchen has professional grade appliances and the table sat our whole family. We used all 8 bedrooms and it worked out great. The hot tub on the roof was a big hit during the evenings. We also enjoyed the seating in the back yard. It was a great place to play giant jenga! It was ideal to be so close to the beach because we could go for morning and evening walks along the beach and even head back for lunch regularly.
#40. Great place for family or friends, Next to Beach
Five family went for our yearly meet out. Very close to Beach, just a min walk. House was kept very clean and themed with small toys. Enough parking. Very close to shops. We loved the stay. Pets policies are Ok, but we didn't prefer due to high cost. That aside, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The roof top HotTub and the view from there to Beach was amazing!!. We will surely visit after few years.
#43. Very large and well maintained
Had my 60th Birthday party with 20 of my closest friends, it rained the day of the party but the house was so large it accommodated everyone for an indoor party. We were all very comfortable and the 6 bedrooms slept all of us. The house is located just a few yards from the beach which was great, no long walk from the bay to the ocean like we usually do. Also don't be alarmed by the owners living a section of the house. Mary Ann & Tom was none intrusive but were available if needed. Lovely people also. If your looking for a nice house thats close to the beach and all the fine restaurants that LBI has to offer this is the house to rent. We also took our two dachshunds with us and they loved it as well. Oh, how could I forget the rooftop hot tub with the beautiful views of LBI. We hope to be able to visit again sometime.

We had a fantastic week at the house in August. Hot tub and porch on the roof were great - especially at sunset! Location to the beach (5 minute walk) was so convenient. Really appreciated that lots of beach chairs and a few umbrellas were available at the house for our use. Lots of stores and restaurants easily accessible. House was laid out nicely for a big group. Owners were very nice and extremely helpful with lots of information about the area.

The huge dining table is a great place to gather and share ideas. The house has indoor and outdoor places to gather and/or spread out in groups to deliberate ideas. The house is perfect for day meeting, networking or a project working weekend. Great location that I have had meetings at both in and out of season with the owners!
#44. Group gatherings at the Beach House Retreat!
I've attended 3 different gatherings at the Beach House Retreat and it is the PERFECT place! If you are planning an office meeting or girls Weekend or business seminar, family reunion, birthday party.....any time you need a large but intimate space you must consider coming here! Let your ideas flow.........with a home setting opposed to a hotel where there really aren't meeting rooms on LBI. There is a large table to congregate with a sitting area. There is also the outdoor space. Plenty of sleeping too if you are staying overnight or the weekend. Steps to the beach is an added bonus. And Mary Ann and Tom will help you plan from start to finish if needed!! I just can't say enough, check it out for yourself.
#45. Bachelorette Weekend Success
The house for the weekend was amazing! Its proximity to the beach makes it the ideal place to stay in LBI. Nine of us stayed in the house for a bachelorette weekend (all with a bed) and could not have asked for more. The rooftop deck is a great spot to entertain and the downstairs kitchen fit us all comfortably. Mary Ann and Tom were so willing to help and are just the kindest hosts we could imagine. I would definitely recommend staying here - we are trying to come back here next year ourselves!
